In high school she went to Eastwood Collegiate where she graduated from the Integrated Arts program with a major in Dance and a minor in Drama. She went on to study French and Theatre and Performance at the University of Waterloo, graduating with an Honours Bachelor’s Degree. During that time she also studied in France and Nova Scotia, and then worked for a few months in Haiti. Afterwards, she attended York University and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Education for teaching Intermediate/Senior French and Drama. During this time she met Melissa Altro and began exploring voice more in depth. She was able to integrate her experience in dance and theatre with her voice work to develop her skills.
